We are aware of recent reports of the deaths of several pets in our community. We have not cared for patients with acute illnesses that have passed away here at Kindness Pet Hospital.

While the deaths of multiple pets raise concern, details of each case are not known, and a definitive common cause has not been determined. A reasoned, well-informed approach to diagnosis is warranted, as is taking advice from appropriate and credentialed animal healthcare professionals.

Please consult with your veterinarian if you have questions or concerns about your pet’s health and well-being and do not dose over-the-counter supplements or medications to your pet without consulting with your veterinarian.

We will continue to monitor this situation closely and provide care, support and diagnostic testing as indicated to determine causation.
